Alan recently published his first book, On The Line which explores the forced migration of people, both on small and large scales, due to economic, social, political and environmental events. His work examines the relationship between personal experience and ‘the event’, and asks the timely question ‘where will we go, as a species, when we can no longer inhabit the lands we have since our beginnings’? (Juan Ruben Reyes).
Born in New Zealand and based in London, Alan travels to Australia often on commission.
