What started as another sun-scant morning—the latest in a streak of dreary mornings for Sydney—turned into a true blue affair: sun, beating down in full force onto the asphalt and red brick.
It seemed like a fitting introduction to 2025 Australian Fashion Week, presented by Australian Fashion Council and Shark Beauty. After a fitting Welcome to Country and smoking ceremony, the sun-filtered day started with group show The Frontiers and a homegrown presentation from the Lee Matthews, followed by Joseph & James, Nagnata, Diary of a Naughtie Kid and Beare Park. Attendees sprung onto the style scene with blazers aplenty, grounded denim, and classic silhouettes in grey and muted neutrals.
