Lilli Waters continues her accolades after last week being named one of the Best Ad Photographers Worldwide for 2021/2022 by Lürzer’s Archive, with this week being selected as a finalist in Manning Regional Gallery’s Naked and Nude Art Prize for her work “Extinct” (seen below).
She is among 62 finalists whose work range from sculpture, painting, ceramics, installation, drawing, video and photography.
The competition will be judged by renowned Australian artist, Wendy Sharpe. The overall winner will receive $32,000 and have their artwork acquired by the gallery for their collection. The winner will be announced on the gala opening night of Saturday, August 28th.
The People’s Choice winner will receive $2,000. The public will be able to vote from August 28th until October 10th, with the People’s Choice winner announced on October 11th. To see the show and vote, head to Manning Regional Art Gallery, based in Taree, NSW.
