Ted Min is a South Korean-born fashion and advertising photographer based in Melbourne.
His work explores ways to bring individual characters to life with playful use of spontaneity, humour and keen engagement with colour.
“I’m inspired by many artists who bring a great level of irony and humour in their works – such as Thomas Mailaender, Juergen Teller and Ray Cook – who is forever my lecturer since the start of uni.
I feel that my strongest styles come from bringing unreal moments and turning them into something relatable; reducing the distance between everyday life and joy with brands that portray exclusivity (high-art, high-fashion, painting references, religion etc). “
